Big-Spending Ohio State Could Change Nickname to Bucks-Eyes

A very interesting article on each conference/team on their winning percentage, how much they spent on football, and where they compare across their own conference and the BCS. Cincinnati, as you might have guessed, is the second lowest budget in the BE. It would be the second or 3rd lowest team in any BCS conference we were in. Which makes winning two BE titles even more unbelievable during BK's tenure. Do we have to spend the most (ie. get more donations and charge more for tickets)? Perhaps not to OSU's level, but we do need more to compete and expect a championship on a regular basis. Our margin for error is pretty small right now. Read it here.

12th Annual Bearcat Kickoff Classic Golf Outing Slated for Sunday, July 18

The annual Bearcat Kickoff Classic will be hosted at the Walden Ponds Golf Club in Hamilton, OH on Sunday, July 18 with proceeds benefitting Bearcats Football. Head Coach Butch Jones will be the keynote speaker at the event, and assistant coaches Kerry Coombs, Steve Stripling, and Mike Bajakian will be playing in the Four Man Scramble. Registration is $100 per golfer, which includes green fees and cart, range privileges, putting green privileges, drink tickets, cookout lunch, souvenirs, and prizes! Priority Deadline to Upgrade to Club Seats for UC Football vs. Oklahoma Rapidly Approaching

This Friday, June 11, is the priority deadline to upgrade your season tickets to Club seats at Paul Brown Stadium for the Bearcats match-up with Oklahoma. For the battle with the Sooners all football season ticket holders will have their number of season tickets allocated in Paul Brown Stadium based on the UCATS Priority Point System. If you would like to upgrade your tickets to club seats, please click here for additional information. Click on 'season ticket upgrades' and log into your CatsTix account to upgrade your seats. There is a charge of $85 per seat to upgrade your tickets to the Club area of Paul Brown Stadium. Please note, if you are a non-season ticket holder wishing to purchase tickets, or are a season ticket holder interested in obtaining additional seats, UCATS members have an exclusive pre-sale opportunity to purchase Oklahoma tickets beginning on June 21, 2010.

UCATS presents Monte Carlo Night as we celebrate the 26th Anniversary of the Riverboat Cruise provided by BB Riverboats! Come ready to win big Bearcats Bucks!

Please join Director of Athletics Mike Thomas, UC coaches, support staff, and fellow Bearcats fans for a fun-filled evening on the Ohio River. Remember casual attire is recommended.

The dinner cruise is FREE for each UCATS member and their spouse or guest. We will begin to board the Belle of Cincinnati at 6p.m. and will depart from the dock at 7p.m. You will be treated to a full dinner buffet, including a cash bar. We will return to the Newport Landing Dock by 10p.m.

This event is exclusive for only UCATS members and their spouse or guest. Due to the recent growth of the UCATS membership, no additional guests are permitted this year. You must RSVP by close-of-business on June 8th. Also because of the increased number of UCATS members, if the scenario arises that there are more RSVPs than the maximum capacity of the Belle of Cincinnati, reservations will be accommodated based on UCATS Priority Points. Nametags will be mailed to you prior to the event to confirm your reservation. Please bring your nametags to the event as they will serve as your tickets to board the Belle of Cincinnati.
