One perspective I'm beginning to warm to. Not that there won't be more bumps along the way, nobody dominates the Big East in basketball, but doing what he's done to this point is still impressive.

Kept GU to the lowest shooting % in arena history! Outside their top scorer, not another player made more than one basket that game. Some of the best D I've ever seen!

Conditioning and Competition
The off season training at UC is as much about getting the mind ready for a run at a third Big East Title, as much as it is getting the players bodies ready. Last week we stopped by the Jefferson Avenue Sports Complex expecting to find the team conditioning, instead we found the competing....against each other.
Goebel: Big East Scholar Athlete of the Year
Very impressive.
For the first time in program history the UC football team has the honor of
having one of their own named as the Big East Football Scholar Athlete of the Year. Running back John Goebel was given this honor earlier this week. The fifth year senior graduated with his undergraduate degree in marketing last spring and played this season as a graduate student, where in the fall quarter he posted a perfect 4.0 grade point average. Gobel was also productive on the field over his career helping the Bearcats win back to back Big East Titles.
