The University of Cincinnati and media partner FOX Sports Ohio are gearing up for another season of UC Football on the network, presented by the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky Honda Dealers. To kick off the season, the network presents a half-hour preseason look with Inside Bearcats Football 2009, premiering Monday, August 31 at 6 p.m.

UC vs. EKU Highlights
After this performance I was really excited to see a big senior year from Grutza. His performance at OU wasn't that bad either considering no run game. Wish he would have gotten his shot at the Orange Bowl, but regardless, one of my favorite tough guy Bearcats.

Capital One Mascot Challenge
The Bearcat has been busy training for the Capital One Mascot Challenge. Make sure you're ready to vote Aug 31st!
Game Tickets
As you may or may not know, UCAT members can get home game tickets until Monday. After that they go on sale to the general public. I know many people are used to deciding a week before the game whether to attend or not, but I can already say for a fact a WVU Alumni Associate joined UCATS and bought 600 single game tickets to sell to WVU alumni for their game here. Many of our games, including the home opener, aren't that far from a sellout. If you are interested in tickets please contact me ASAP and/or call the ticket office to reserve today. New BE Bowl Agreements
This is very good news in my opinion. Losing the Gator Bowl is disappointing, but our old lineup was BCS, Gator or Sun on a rotating basis (never both in the same year), Car Care, Papa John's Bowl, then International.
The new agreements will most likely be BCS, Champs, Sun, Car Care, St. Petersburg, and probably Papa John's or another TBD bowl.
Overall we've gone from ND taking a Sun or Gator slot 2 out of the 4 years to once out of the 4 years, better destinations in each bowl, and a move up in bowl slots for teams 3-6. Only major negative is not having a New Year's bowl outside of the BCS, but most people feel Orlando is better than Jacksonville as a destination, and the payout is about the same. A surprisingly good development.

Pike on Rivals
