Best Colleges 2011

Not in football, in academics. I don't put a ton of weight into the US News & World Report popularity contest, but in the end we just jumped from a Tier III to a Tier I institution, now ranked 156th, with an acceptance down to 67%, and a freshmen class that is the biggest ever. We're taking less kids by % than either OSU or Miami (yes, that Miami). Think about that for a second. We went in 10 years from basically a unranked commuter school to almost top 150 Tier I institution with 72% of students living within walking distance of campus AND have a back to back BCS football team.
